2025 Des Moines Concours Charity Gala

A Spectacular Saturday Night Charity Gala will be held September 6, 2025 from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at the Stine Barn.

The Des Moines Concours d’Elegance is excited to announce its highly anticipated Charity Gala, taking place on Saturday, September 6, at the elegant Stine Barn in West Des Moines from 5:30-9:00 p.m. This year’s gala promises an unforgettable evening of fine dining, entertainment, and exclusive experiences, all while supporting a worthy cause – The Children’s Cancer Connection.

Highlights of the Evening:

Vehicles on display: 2015 McLaren P1, 1948 Chrysler Town & contry Convertible Coupe, and 1992 Jaguar XJR-15. Read more about the amazing vehicles HERE!
Live & Silent Auction: Live Auction will feature a catered meal for 12 by Chef Aaron Holt of Doolittle Farms. Before the Live Auction, bid on an array of exclusive items in the Silent Auction. We are have secured some amazing auction items that will be sure to excite attendees.
Music by local musicians: Enjoy the melodic tunes providing a beautiful backdrop for the evening.
Iowa Bourbon Experience: Savor small-batch bourbon tastings in our exclusive bourbon experience, curated for discerning palates.
Gourmet Dinner by Chef Aaron Holt: Delight in a farm-to-table plated dinner prepared by Chef Aaron Holt, the 2018 Iowa Chef of the Year Winner, and Doolittle Farm from Story City. Chef Holt, highly recommended by 2024 Master Chef Winner Grant Gillion, is renowned for his bourbon-inspired menus. A big thank you to Fareway Meat & Groceries for providing the menu items for Chef Holt.

Special Guest Appearance:

Donald W. Osborne, automotive historian, appraiser, author, and co-host of Jay Leno’s Garage, will be this year’s Concours Charity Gala Special Guest. Join us for an evening that combines the best of culinary excellence, fine spirits, and automotive elegance. The Charity Gala is the perfect way to kick off a weekend dedicated to celebrating the artistry and innovation of the automotive world while making a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families through Children’s Cancer Connection.

Dress Code: Respectable Chic. While formal suits and evening gowns are not required, we encourage guests to dress in attire that is both tasteful and polished. Think of “respectable chic” as a balance between elegance and ease.
