2026 Concours Charitable Support

Proceeds from the 2026 Des Moines Concours will help support two charity partners this year: Children’s Cancer Connection and Des Moines Automotive Heritage Grant.

The Concours has worked closely with Children’s Cancer Connection since 2014. We continue in 2026 to support their mission of connecting families facing childhood cancer by providing programs for education, recreation and support.

In 2026, The IAHF Board introduced Des Moines Concours Automotive Heritage Grant administered by the Iowa Automotive Heritage Foundation to provide financial assistance for tools, project funding, equipment, or training that supports high school automotive education across the state of Iowa. These grants were funded in part by the Red Flag Tour of Iowa. Joseph Phillips has been instrumental in developing this program. We see this as a great way to build up the next generation of experts, restorers, technicians and enthusiasts.

The Des Moines Concours d’Elegance™ is a premier automotive exhibition held each September on the weekend after Labor Day in downtown Des Moines. The Des Moines Concours is a community event, open to the public at no charge, and presents an extraordinary display of vintage and classic motor vehicles, selected to celebrate the fine art, design evolution and amazing innovations of motor vehicles through the years, as well as the talented designers and engineers that created them.
